On the 12 of February 2016 New Zealand Croatia made the trek north to play their annual fixture against Cobham Club.
The Cros got the day off to a great start by winning the toss and electing to have a bat.
“Matty Vu” and Joey got off to a decent start before losing Matty for 6 with the score at 21.
From there, we cruised along at a decent click, building partnerships in the process.

John Vujnovich (16) and our ring-in Leicestershire County Pro, sorry Guest Player on debut Tom Wells (29) each had stints at the crease batting along side Joey Yovich (49).
At the end of their 20 overs, NZ Croatia had put 129/6 on the board for Cobham Club to chase.
In reply, Cobham Club got off to a very similar start, losing their first wicket for 21.
This then brought Mr. Harvey Booth to the crease.
Booth preceded to show a full array of shots, working his way through to 52 off 43 and taking his team to 115, before he was crucially dismissed in the 19th over.
The final over found the Cobham Club needing 14 to win with three wickets in hand.
Tom Wells was tasked to bowl this final over, and provided a polished performance with only two runs being conceded and two run outs effected. NZ Croatia finished with a 12 run win! NZ Croatia remains unbeaten for the season and retains an unbeaten record against our bunnies the Cobham Club. Thanking all kindly for a great game played in top spirit and most enjoyable occasion.
