Many thanks to Auckland for turning on a beautiful day's weather for this year's annual one-dayer between the Kookaburra NZ Croatia XI and the rising stars of Auckland DFA.
A high-scoring game at the always enjoyable Cornwall Park and thank you to all involved especially our Manager Grant Jackson of Kookaburra NZ for his ceaseless support and putting up with Jonesy's chat all day.
Very exciting to field a strong team including distinguished guests who have represented the BLACKCAPS and on the day our first innings total a little too high to climb for Auckland DFA which means we square the ledger 2-2 and look forward to taking the lead next summer!!
